Tea with the Spirits: A Tasseomancy Ritual for Shadow Work with Jezmina Von Thiele
Sunday, October 26th at 4pm $75
Led by Jezmina Von Thiele, author of Secrets of Romani Fortune Telling
Join us at Deadwick’s Ethereal Emporium for a unique ritual designed to help you connect with your spirit guides through the art of tasseomancy--reading tea leaves-- to dive into shadow work. Shadow work is a term to describe methods to process challenging beliefs or emotions, and meet yourself with compassion and self-acceptance, even when it’s scary. This ritual is rooted in the Romani tradition and is led by Jezmina Von Thiele, a Romani-American author, educator, and resident tarot, palm, and tea leaf reader at Deadwick’s.
Whether you’re brand new to spiritual work or have years of experience, this ritual is open and welcoming to all. Jezmina creates a safe and respectful space for learning, reflection, and connection, guiding you step-by-step through the process.
During this ritual, you will:
Sip a specially chosen herbal tea while setting your intentions
Discuss the benefits and intentions of shadow work
Participate in a guided meditation to invite your spirit guides
Learn how to read symbols in your tea leaves using Romani techniques
Receive insights and guidance based on your reading
You’ll leave with a deeper sense of connection to your own intuition, your guides, and the tradition of tasseomancy. This is a great opportunity to learn from a teacher raised in this tradition in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Bring a journal and a pen to record your insights.
All are welcome—no experience necessary. Space is limited, so reserve your spot in advance.
