Explore the archetypes of your dreams through the tarot and sink into a renewed self-care practice for sleep with Jezmina Von Thiele.
Dive into dream work and dream interpretation, using the archetypes of the tarot and Jezmina's Romani-Sinti framework. In this workshop, we will discuss ways to approach sleep and dreaming as a magical, healing, and cathartic space to integrate the many parts of the self, and to connect to ancestors. These methods will include: ritual, soothing bedtime self care practices, meditation and dream tea recipes.
Together, we will overview dream interpretation and dream journaling, and how to use tarot as a tool in this context. At the end of our time together, we will use the tarot to interpret our own dreams through journaling.

Make sure to bring the following items to class:
A tarot deck, a journal and something to write with.

You will be emailed a PDF of notes after the class, so note taking during class is encouraged if you find it helpful, but it’s not necessary.

Jezmina Von Thiele (she/they) is a mixed Romani-Sinti fortune teller, healer, writer, performer, educator, and activist. She reads tarot, palms, and tea leaves in her grandmother's Sinti-Romani tradition. The women on Jezmina's Sinti side of the family have been fortune tellers, healers, and dancers for many generations. (Roma are also known by the slur, "Gypsy," but it is not the preferred term, and it is requested that non-Roma do not use it.)

This class will take place in the Deadwick's Common Room. It begins at 6pm, and runs approximately an hour and a half. Please enter through the front of Deadwick's upon arrival, at 19 Sheafe St. and allow time for parking.
