This class will go over multiple methods for using common tools for cleansing a space of ghosts, entities, or otherwise negative energy. We will go over types of “hauntings,” methods for cleansing a space, when to cleanse, using divination to help cleanse, spiritual hygiene and housekeeping, cultural appropriation v. cultural appreciation, and how to create your own cleansing ritual. Bring a notebook and pen to take notes.

Jezmina Von Thiele (she/they) is a mixed Romani-Sinti fortune teller, healer, writer, performer, educator, and activist. She reads tarot, palms, and tea leaves in her grandmother's Sinti-Romani tradition. The women on Jezmina's Sinti side of the family have been fortune tellers, healers, and dancers for many generations. (Roma are also known by the slur, "Gypsy," but it is not the preferred term, and it is requested that non-Roma do not use it.)
